News Americas, WASHINGTON, D.C., Fri, March 7, 2014:   To mark International Women’s Day, celebrities included Super Model Naomi Campbell, marched at the annual ‘MARCH IN MARCH’ to End Violence Against Women, in celebration of the Day, on Friday March 7, 2014, from UN Headquarters to Dag Hammarskjold Park, in New York City.

The supermodel threw on a charity bib, and joined Gossip Girl’s Kelly Rutherford and fellow actress Kim Cattrall to support and speak at the event in New York.

Campbell shed tears as she listened to emotional speeches at the march.

The march came as UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon joined Former US Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, at the Equality for Women is Progress for All conference, on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, Friday February 7, 2014, at UN Headquarters, New York.

“Just as women’s rights are human rights, women’s progress is human progress, said Clinton, adding that despite the achievements, no country in the world has achieved full participation of women in society, and this remains the “great unfinished business of the 21th century.”
