News Americas, BROOKLYN, NY, Fri. Jan. 27, 2017: A Trinidad-born national motivated by life experiences, has released her first book of poems which she hopes to inspire others.

Chaguanas-born, Brooklyn resident Claudia Coombs, new book, Intriguing Inspirational Poems is now available on Amazon.

“Writing poetry is truly an inspiration to me.  It enables me to expand my views on life in general and what it has to offer,” Coombs, who also is a professional caterer and milliner, told NAN recently.

“It also brings out what’s in my heart, what’s on my mind, and gives the reader an insight of my very inner thoughts,” she added. “This allows me to share with the world all the good things life has to offer.  It allows me to examine the beauty of life creations knowing we are all given the opportunity to part-take of it all.  Because of all the provisions made for us, we have the ability to utilize our gifts and talents to the fullest.”

Coombs is a graduate in fashion design and decided to focus on millinery. Her head wear entails a variety of custom made fabric hats, stylized berets, felts, cloches, straws, baseball caps, trappers, leather toques, fur cuffs, fake furs, and polar fleece helmets. In the near future she plans to extend her specialty to bridal head wear.

Coombs can be reached @ [email protected]. Get her book here.
