News Americas, ST. THOMAS, Virgin Islands, Thurs. Oct. 8, 2015: A 31-year-old man wanted in St. Croix, for alleged robbery and unauthorized use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime has been nabbed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations officers.

Luis Raul Torres, 31, was arrested at the Cyril E. King Airport in Charlotte Amalie after seeking travel to Florida on October 2.

CBP officers arrested Torres, when a name check revealed he was the subject of an outstanding warrant for robbery and unauthorized use of a firearm.  After verifying the warrant, CBP contacted the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD), which responded and took custody of Torres.
