All eyes will be on Brazil this month ahead of this summer’s FIFA World Cup, but it’s not just the country’s football that gets pulses racing! Here’s a run-down of five of the country’s established fashion talents, who have dominated fashion pages and runways over the last decade. Born in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul, Gisele has undoubtedly been the country’s and the world’s top runway and editorial talent over the last decade and took home $42 million in earnings last year, according to Forbes Magazine’s annual survey. The third best earning model in the world after her countrywoman Gisele and Australian star Miranda Kerr, Lima is the longest standing Victoria’s Secret Angel, having worked with the famous lingerie brand since 2000. Having successfully launched her own fashion brand Ále by Alessandra earlier this year, the model is also one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels and has starred in campaigns for Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana and Loewe and walked in shows for Prada and Chanel.
