News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Sept. 21, 2018: A Caribbean-born rapper who infamously insulted Wanna Thompson who critiqued her music earlier this summer and has been accused of sicking her fans on critics and inciting online abuse is now the face of an anti-bullying campaign

Trinidad-born Nicki Minaj, who recently made headlines for a fight with Caribbean-roots rapper, Cardi B at a New York Fashion Week party, is part of the Italian fashion label, Diesel’s anti-bullying program.

Twitter users, however, voiced their concerns over the brand choosing Minaj to helm the anti-bullying campaign but the company responded: “We’re here to support anyone who’s getting hated on, and Nicki is one of them.”

Minaj joins Gucci Mane, Bella Thorne,Tommy Dorfman and Yoo Ah-in as a brand ambassador for Diesel’s Fall/Winter 2018 “Hate Couture” collection, which features pieces emblazoned with hateful comments each of these stars have received on social media.

In the promo, her shirt reads “The Bad Guy.” Proceeds from the sale of the limited-edition pieces will reportedly be donated to anti-bullying programs at its OTB foundation, a non-for-profit organization.
